Obscure TV personality, Benoit Robert dreams of making it big in show-business. Frustrated comedian Stéphane Deblois convinces Benoit that writing screenplay will earn them the succes they deserve, so they resolve to go to Rouyn-Noranda to isolate themselves and find inspiration. Tormented with anguish, Benoit reluctantly leaves Montreal and his friends and confidants Jean-Michel Thiffaux (a 40-year-old has-been hanging onto his buddhist beliefs) and Sébastien Béchard (a TV host at the height of his carreer).
