Founder and president of Go Films, Nicole Robert produced 32 features. Nine of her films hit the million mark at the Québec box office. All screened internationally in over hundred festivals and received prestigious awards.
Nicole produced some of the most memorable Quebecois movies such as Québec-Montréal, Karmina 2, Sur le Seuil, Les Aimants, Tout est parfait, Les sept jour du Talion, 1981, 1987, and most recently King Dave, Nelly and 1991 by Ricardo Trogi, with which she won the Golden Screen Award at the Canadian Screen Awards 2019, and the Iris of Best Movie and the Audience Award at the Gala Québec Cinéma.
In 2005, Nicole Robert was honoured at the Gala des Femmes du cinema, de la télévision et des nouveaux médias. She also was honoured by the Quebec Cinema Owners Association (APCQ) for her career. In 2017, she received the Denis Héroux Award at the Fantasia Film Festival for her achievement and contribution in genre films and independent cinema in Quebec.
In 2019, her two most recent productions get released, Fabuleuses, first feature by Mélanie Charbonneau, winner of the Busan Bank Award at the Busan Film Festival 2019, and Sympathie pour le diable by Guillaume de Fontenay, winner of a dozen of awards.
Graduated of a Master in Production and Distribution, Ronan Thomas started to collaborate with different festivals in Europe and Canada, in charge of coproduction markets and professional plateforms, Paris Project at Paris Cinema, Les Rendez-vous Pro at Les Rendez-vous du Cinéma Québécois, Frontières at Fantasia IFF.In 2016, Ronan joins the GO FILMS team.
Pierre has an academic background in political science and French writing. He was editor-checker for, among other things, Guy Connolly publishing services, Trius, Trustar and L’Actualité, then reader at Lux Films. Since 2006 he is part of the Go Films team.
